HSI provides a complete Temper Etch (Nital Etch) service operations to detect localized re-tempering, re-hardening and carburization flaws, undetectable in singular hardness testing. These inspections help assure that each hardness-critical part will not be subject to premature failure under normal use.

Our temperature and fluid concentration controlled systems can accommodate parts of various sizes and configurations. In addition to our Nadcap accreditation, we are also approved by many aerospace prime and sub-prime contractors.

Prime contractors served: AAR Cargo Systems, Airbus, Argotech, Bell Helicopter, Boeing, Curtiss Wright Flight Systems, Department of Defense, Eaton Vickers Aerospace, FAA, Frisby Aerospace, GE Aviation, General Dynamics, Hamilton Sundstrand, Honeywell, Kaman Aerospace, Lycoming, MD Helicopters, Moog, Northrop Grumman, Parker Hannifin, Pratt & Whitney, Raytheon, Rolls- Royce, Schweizer Aircraft, Sikorsky, Teledyne Continental, Textron, Truimph Group, United Technologies, Williams International.
